Made it for Easter breakfast. It was a big hit, and no leftovers, so I had to make more.

Ingredients For sausage egg casserole

  • 1 lb
    tennessee pride country sausage, cooked and crumbled, and drained
  • 1/2
    loaf of hawaiian bread, sliced 1 inch thick
  • 6
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded colby jack cheese

How To Make sausage egg casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 baking dish. Arrange bread over the bottom of the dishWhisk eggs and milk in mixing bowl until well blended, season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour 1/2 the egg mixture over the bread. Sprinkle with 1/2 the sausage and cheese. Add the remaining egg mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining sausage and cheese.

    Bake 20 to 30 minutes until eggs are set and topis golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
