sausage and pecan casserole, my way

I made it with cinnamon swirl bread, you could probably use any bread, but if you don't use cinnamon bread, add some to casserole.

Ingredients For sausage and pecan casserole, my way

  • 1 pkg
    sausage, fried, crumbled and drained
  • 1 lb
    cinnamon bread, cubed (16 oz)
  • 6
    eggs
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    pecans
  • TOPPING
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c
    pecans
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    maple syrup

    Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees 35 min.

    I sprayed 9x13, put cubes in, sausage and pecans on top, mixed liquids together to soak in and stirred together. Then combined topping and crumbled on top before baking.
