I love french toast casseroles. This is great to take to a potluck. I've also made it for dinner. It's one of my daughter's favorites!

Ingredients For peach french toast

1 cpacked brown sugar

1/2 cbutter
-
2 Tbspwater

1 can(29 oz.) sliced peaches, drained

12 sliceday-old french bread (3/4 inch thick)

5eggs
-
1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 Tbspvanilla

cinnamon
How To Make peach french toast

1In a suacepan, bring brown sugar, butter and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, sirring frequently. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Top with peaches. Arrange bread over peaches.

2In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and vanilla. Slowly pour over the bread. cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

3Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover, bake 25-30 minutes longer or until the bread is golden brown. Serve with a spoon.
