The thing I like the most about this recipe is that it is made the night before. My family and friends love this recipe. Our family always use this recipe when we all get together at one of our houses. Always a great way to start breakfast on Christmas Morning too. One of my girl friends gave me this recipe years ago.

Ingredients For morning casserole

2 1/2 cpepperidge farm herb croutons

2 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 1/2 lbyour favorite bulk sausage

2 1/2 cmilk
-
3/4 tspdry mustard
-
4eggs and a dash of pepper
-
1 canmushroom soup
-
1/2 cmilk
How To Make morning casserole

1Place croutons in bottom of 9 x 12 inch greased pan.

2Top with shredded cheese (saving 1/2 cup for topping)

3Brown sausage, drain, and crumble.

4Place sausage on top of cheese and croutons

5Beat together eggs, milk, mustard, and pepper.

6Pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Before baking in the morning, dilute mushroom soup with 1/2 cup milk.

8Pour over casserole and top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese.

9Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours until set. Insert knife in center of casserale and if it comes out clean; the casserole is set amd ready to eat
