Ingredients For maureen's brunch casserole

  • 16 slice
    thin white bread
  • 8 slice
    canadian bacon
  • 1 c
    sharp grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • dash
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 8
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter

How To Make maureen's brunch casserole

  • 1
    Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish- line with half of the bread. On each slice place round of bacon, 1/8 cheese, top with bread.

    Mix remainder of ingredients, except butter. Pour over bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

    One hour before baking remove from refrigerator. Melt butter, and pour over top. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350* Enjoy....
