Not sure where this recipe came from, but my sister-in-law in Cincinnati always makes it for us when we stay over.

1 lbtennessee pride ground sausage

6eggs beaten with whisk

1 cmilk

8 ozsmall curd cottage cheese

6 Tbspmelted butter

3 ozcream cheese

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 cflour
-
1/ tspsalt

8-10 ozmonterray jack cheese

4 ozcheddar cheese

1 canchi chi's brand green chiles (can substitute jalopeno peppers for a hotter casserole)
How To Make lousiana egg bake

1Brown the sausage, drain and let cool. Add the chiles.

2Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl, add the meat mixture. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan.

3Best if refrigerated overnight. Then bake for 40 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
