Not entirely certain whose recipe this originally was - but it's a great morning dish. You can also add sausage!

Ingredients For hashbrown casserole

  • 1 lg
    bag of shredding hashbrowns
  • 1 lg
    jar of regular velveeta cheese
  • 16 oz
    of sour cream
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/4-1/2
    chopped onion
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper

How To Make hashbrown casserole

  • 1
    Cook onion in butter in large pot. Add all ingredients under but the hashbrowns, mixing well. Take off heat and add hashbrowns.

    Put into 9x11 greased dish, and bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
