This is a great overnight casserole. Make it one night, refrigerate, then bake the next morning for a hearty breakfast.

Ingredients For ham, egg and cheese casserole

  • 16 slice
    bread, crusts removed
  • 16 slice
    swiss cheese
  • 16 slice
    deli ham
  • 16 slice
    amrican cheese
  • 8
    eggs
  • 3 c
    1% milk
  • 2 c
    cornflakes cereal
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How To Make ham, egg and cheese casserole

    Spray a 13" x 9" casserole dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl, blend together egg,milk, onion salt and dry mustard.

    Place 8 slices bread in bottom of casserole dish. Place 8 slices swiss cheese over bread. Place 8 slices ham over swiss cheese. Place 8 slices american cheese over ham. Repeat the layers. Pour egg mix over ingredients. Cover w/ foil. Refrigerate overnight.

    The next morning, heat oven to 350. Uncover casserole and sprinkle w/ cornflakes. Drizzle w/ butter. Bake 1 hr.
