1 lbsliced bacon, diced

2 ccooked ham, diced

1 smonion, peeled and chopped

1 cdiced fresh cremini mushrooms

10 slicewhite bread, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 ccooked potato, diced into 1/2-inch cubes

3 cshredded cheddar cheese

8eggs
-
3 cmilk
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 tspdry mustard

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make farmer's breakfast strata

1In a skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp; add ham, onion and mushrooms. Cook and stir until onion is tender; drain.

2Coat a 13x9x2-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Layer half the bread cubes, potatoes and cheese. Top with all of the bacon mixture. Repeat layers of bread, potatoes and cheese.

3In a bowl, beat the eggs; add milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over all. Cover and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerate 30 minutes before baking.

4Preheat oven to 325F.

5Bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for 65-70 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes and cut into 12-16 squares to serve.
