This is a easy dish that everyone will love. Great for the holidays or when guest are present. This is good to make the night before. Cover and place in fridge, then bake in the AM.

Ingredients For easy breakfast casserole

  • 16 slice
    bread, sandwich
  • 3/4 lb
    shaved ham
  • 3/4 lb
    chedder cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 8
    eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make easy breakfast casserole

    Grease a 9 by 11 baking dish. Trim crust from bread. Cut into cubes (about 9 per slice) Layer 1/2 the bread in bottom of pan. Place half the ham on top of bread. Then place half the shredded cheese. Then add the remaining bread. Add ham and cheese. Beat eggs, salt, pepper, butter and milk together in a large bowl. Pore on top of ham and cheese. Spread more cheese on top of eggs. Bake for 40-45 min. At 375 degrees ( Do not preheat oven) You can also use sausage instead of ham. Just make sure you cook and drain it very good.
