This was given to me by a friend from Texas. I like it because you can make it ahead and then bake it up the next morning. Have a wonderful time making this ahead of time and then serving it to your family

Ingredients For donna "s breakfast casserole

  • 1 lb
    sausage--browned,drained, and cooled
  • 12 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped bell pepper
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 lb
    velveeta cheese (cubed)
  • 3 c
    seasoned croutons

How To Make donna "s breakfast casserole

  • 1
    Beat eggs with whisk or fork. Blend in all other ingredients, ending with croutons. Salt and pepper may be added, but cheese usually makes it salty enough. Pour into greased 9x13 baking dish. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees 30- 45 minutes or until puffed all over. Do not over cook, as it will continue to cook after it leaves the oven. Serve with picante sauce if desired. Enjoy
