Ingredients For breakfast sausage

  • 4 1/2 lb
    pork shoulder, fat removed
  • 3/4 c
    oatmeal
  • 1
    whole nutmeg, grated
  • 3 tsp
    salt
  • 2
    heaping teaspoons sage
  • 2
    heaping teaspoons marjouam
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make breakfast sausage

  • 1
    Cut pork into small pieces. Combine with other ingredients. Using fine grinder run through meat grinder twice. Shape into patties. Cook as desired. Makes about 20 patties.
