Ingredients For breakfast/lunch/supper casserole

1 pkgcountry mild pork sausage

10eggs, lightly beaten
-
3 cmilk
-
2 tspdry mustard
-
1 tspsalt

6 ccubed bread (i use french bread)

2 cshredded cheese of choice
-
1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 cthin-sliced green onions
-
2 Tbspbell pepper of choice, finely chopped
-
garlic & onion powder to taste
-
dash of chili powder
How To Make breakfast/lunch/supper casserole

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees and butter 13x9 baking pan or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

2Cook sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink, drain.

3In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic and onion powder; stir well.

4Layer in pan in the following order: half the bread, half the cheese, half the sausage and half the onions and bell pepper. Repeat layer using the remaining bread, cheese, sausage, onion and bell pepper.

5Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole and bake uncovered for 60 minutes or until eggs are set. If top begings to brown too quickly, tent with foil.

6Individual servings can be topped with salsa, white gravy or extra cheese.
