Ingredients For breakfast casserole

  • 6-8 lg
    eggs, beaten
  • 16 oz
    pork sausage (jimmy dean works great)
  • 6-8 slice
    cooked ham (honey ham tastes great)
  • 2 lb
    shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6-8 slice
    bread (i prefer white bread for this)
  • prepared gravy (optional)

How To Make breakfast casserole

  • 1
    in a 13x9 cake pan, press sausage out evenly into the bottom of pan, next place the sliced cooked ham on sausage.

    in seperate bowl, combine eggs and shredded hashbrown potatoes, pour mixture on top of ham and sausage.

    in a 350 degree preheated over, cook sausage, ham, eggs, and potatoes for 45 minutes, remove from oven, add cheese and bread layers on top and place back into oven. bake for an additional 15-30 minutes, depending on your pan (shiny metal, dark metal, or glass).

    serve with gravy on top if desired. (see my peppered gravy recipe)
