Ingredients For breakfast casserole

1 lbground sausage cooked

3 cfresh grated potatoes, pressed

1/4 cbutter sliced into pats

2 csharp cheddar shredded cheese

16 ozsmall curd cottage cheese

6eggs
How To Make breakfast casserole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch square baking dish.

2In the prepared baking dish, stir together the shredded potatoes, spacing the pats of butter on top. Line the bottom and sides of the baking dish with the mixture.

3In a bowl, mix the sausage, Cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, and eggs. Pour over the potato mixture.

4Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the casserole comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
