(In my opinion) I was looking for a way to have oatmeal that was healthy and tasty but not loaded with sugar, this is the result.

Ingredients For best oatmeal ever

5 -6 cmy coconut milk recipe
-
1/4 crasins
-
1/4 cdates, chopped
-
1/4 ccoconut, shredded

1/8 cdried cherries, cut in half
-
1 pinchsalt
-
1/4 ctoasted wheat germ
-
3 Tbspflax seeds
-
1/4 cwheat bran
-
3 Tbspcream of wheat, quick-cook style
-
1 cold-fashioned oatmeal
-
1 cquick oats
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspvanilla
- OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS

1 capplesauce, unsweetened

fresh or frozen fruit, blueberries, peaches etc
How To Make best oatmeal ever

1pour coconut milk in med. sauce pan, add dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon, over med. heat bring to a full boil.

2In a bowl lightly mix dry ingredients, pour slowly into boiling mixture while stirring. Stirring constantly bring to a full boil then lower heat to simmer for about 5 minutes. a few min. longer if needed

3If too thick add applesauce or more coconut milk. Serve with fresh or frozen fruit, toast and nuts for a totally healthy breakfast.
