1 1/2 kgripe tomatoes,sliced and peeled

700 gsugar

700 gbrown onions,sliced

500 mlbrown vinegar

2 Tbspenglish mustard powder

2 Tbspcurry powder

259 gsaltanas
-
25 gsalt {or to taste}
How To Make tangy tomato relish

1Peel Tomatoes, Blanch for 40 second in hot water and peel

2slice tomatoes and onions, and saute without colour in a heavy base pan or pot
-
3add all the other ingredients and bring to the boil, then simmer for approximately 45 min reducing to aggrieve desired consistancy
