Ingredients For over night irish fruit & nut oatmeal by noreen

1 csteel cut oats (irish oats)

2 cwater
-
2 cmilk skim or whole milk

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/3-1/2 creal maple syrup
-
8dried chopped apricots
-
1banana mashed
-
1/4 craisins
-
1/4 cwalnuts
-
1granny smith or other apple sliced and coarsely chopped

a pinch of salt

1Place oats,water, milk, salt, cinnamon, apricots, raisins maple syrup, and Banana in a baking dish deep enough to hold 2 quarts. Stir to combine. Place apples on top.

2Fill slow cooker insert with enough water to come up half to 3/4 of side of baking dish.

3Place casserole inside slow cooker. If you need more water to cover sides pour carefully on side of casserole dish. cover crockpot place on low. Cook 8 to 9 hours. Top with walnuts. Stir well and serve.
