easy ham and cheese quiche

This recipe given to me by my sister who is a great cook. Another family favorite. I was surprised how fast and easy I was able to put this together. Great use for leftover ham.

Ingredients For easy ham and cheese quiche

1unbaked pie shell
-
smamount of mustard, only enough to coat pie shell bottom

1 cdiced ham
-
1 cgrated mozzarella cheese
-
1 Tbspfresh chopped basil or 1tsp dried

3eggs
-
3/4 cwhipping cream
-
dashpepper
-
1 Tbspparmesan cheese, grated
How To Make easy ham and cheese quiche

1Prebake pie shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Helps to prick the bottom of shell before baking. When cool, "paint" the bottom of the shell with the mustard.

2Mix together: diced ham, mozzarella cheese and basil.

3Sprinkle mixture on the bottom of the pie shell.

4Beat together the eggs, whipping cream, pepper and the Parmesan cheese.

5Pour over the ham and cheese mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
