These bars are so good. It's another well received dish the folks at Church enjoyed..so easy too! I used mushrooms today, you can leave them out if you prefer...sometimes I add some heat to them by adding red pepper flakes... These can be eaten cold as well as hot, that's what makes them nice to take somewhere. Enjoy!

Ingredients For broccoli & cheddar bars

4 Tbspbutter

1 - 14 ozbag, small frozen broccoli florets thawed ( i use birdseye )

1 smonion, chopped - i used red today

1 cflour
-
3eggs
-
3/4 tspsalt
-
16 ozcheddar cheese - i used sharp

1 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 cchopped mushrooms - optional
How To Make broccoli & cheddar bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a 9 x 13 baking dish, place butter and place in oven to melt.

2In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all other ingredients together.

3Spread into pan evenly.

4Bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Leave cool for a few minutes before cutting.
