I like the simplicity of beer bread and this is just a bit better. I have used white sugar, light brown sugar and dark brown sugar. All are good and especially good toasted the next day with honey and butter.

3 call purpose flour

1/2 coatmeal, uncooked

1/4 cbrown or white sugar

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

12 ozbeer

2 Tbspbutter, melted
How To Make tina's oatmeal beer bread

1In a bowl blend flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2toss in oatmeal and mix.

3pour beer into dry ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan. pour butter over bread and sprinkle with a bit of raw oatmeal. Bake 375 degrees for 1 hour. Great toasted the next morning.
