My mother cut this out of a newspapere in Hawaii. There were a lot of tea rooms and this is probably an old recipe.

2 call purpose flour

2 tspbaking soda

2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 cnuts, chopped

1 coil

1 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 csugar

2 ccarrot, grated

3eggs
How To Make tea room carrot bread

1Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Make a well in the mixing bowl with the ingredients.

2Add nuts, oil,vanilla, sugar, and carrots. Mix well.

3Pour into a greased loaf pan. Let stand 30 minutes before baking.

4Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

5Optional ingredients: 1 C raisins or 1/2 c coconut and 1/2 c raisins Add with the nuts, oil, vanilla, sugar, and carrots.
