1 cyellow cornmeal

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1/3 csugar

1 Tbspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1 1/2 cwhole milk

1 1/2 stickbutter or margarine, melted

3 Tbspbutter or margarine

2eggs, slightly beaten
How To Make sweet southern corn bread

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In your baking pan or skillet but 3 tablespoons butter and place in preheated oven.

2In large bowl mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside

3In medium bowl mix milk, melted butter, and eggs. Add to dry mixture and mix until no longer dry.

4Remove baking pan from oven and carefully pour batter into baking pan. Return to oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
