This is sweet and VERY LIGHT. Don't recall where I got it but been using it a long time.

Ingredients For sweet cornbread

2 c"pioneer" biscuit and baking mix or "bisquick"

1/2 csugar

3 Tbspcornmeal
-
1 cmargarine, melted and cooled

1 cwhole milk
-
2eggs, beaten well
How To Make sweet cornbread

1Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease 9 in square pan

2Melt margarine noted below so it will cool

3Combine biscuit mix, sugar and cornmeal well in bowl

4Stir cooled margarine and milk into mixture

5Add well-beaten eggs

6Pour into greased 9 inch square pan

7Bake at 350 until done - about 30-40 minutes
