Ingredients For strawberry bread

    20 oz pkg frozen strawberries, thawed, mashed.
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    canola oil
  • 4 eggs
    or egg beaters, equivalent to 4 eggs
  • 3 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans.

How To Make strawberry bread

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray 2-9 x 5" loaf pans w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, w/ mixer on low speed, beat strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs until well mixed. Add 2-1/2 cups flour, beat until well combined. In small bowl, toss pecans w/ remaining flour, stir in strawberry mix. Pour evenly into pans. Bake 55-60 min, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve w/ butter and favorite jam.
