Ingredients For strawberry bread

  • 1 pkg
    (20 oz) frozen strawberries, thawed and mashed
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 4 md
    eggs
  • 3 c
    self rising flour, divided
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make strawberry bread

    preheat oven to 350. coat two 9x5 loaf pans with cooking spray.

    in a large bowl, with an electric beater on low speed, beat strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs until well mixed. add 21/2 cups flour and continue beaten until well combined.

    in a small bowl, toss pecans with remaining 1/2 cup flour then stir into strawberry mixture. pour into prepared loaf pan.

    bake 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. cool slightly then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
