Ingredients For rhubarb bread

1 1/2 cbrown sugar

2/3 coil

1egg
-
1 cbuttermilk or sour milk*

2 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

3/4 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla

1 crhubarb, chopped fine

1/2 cblack walnuts (optional)

1 Tbspbutter, softened

1/2 csugar
How To Make rhubarb bread

1Mix all the ingredients except the rhubarb and walnuts. Add them last and pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Sprinkle on top the soft butter and sugar mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

2*To sour milk add 1 teaspoon of plain vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of 2% milk and let sit for 10-15 minutes. The milk with curdle slightly.
