Ingredients For rhubarb bread

    egg
  • 2 c
    rhubarb
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine soften
  • 2 c
    flour

How To Make rhubarb bread

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix: 1 egg 2/3 c. oil 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla Sift: 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Add sugar and flour mixtures together. Fold in 2 cups cut rhubarb and 1/2 cup walnuts. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 inch pans. Mix: 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. margarine, softened Sprinkle over top of batter. Bake 1 hour.
