Ingredients For rhubarb bread

  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 c
    salad oil
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    sour milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    diced fresh rhubarb
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make rhubarb bread

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle over batter: 1/2 cup sugar and 1 T. butter. Mix with fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. Makes about 4 servingd.
