This is similar to my banana bread recipe as it is from my FAVORITE cookbook! I usually make the small loaves because I can either freeze them or share them at work. This is a very moist bread and always gets raves. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients For pumpkin cheese bread

2 1/2 csugar

8 ozsoftened cream cheese

1/2 cmargarine
-
4eggs
-
15 ozcanned pumpkin
-
3 1/2 cflour
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1 1/4 tsppumpkin spice
-
1 cnuts(opt)
How To Make pumpkin cheese bread

1Combine sugar, softened cream cheese , and margarine, mixing til blended.

2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

3Blend in pumpkin

4Add combined dry ingredients, mixing till moist.

5Fold in nuts.

6Pour into 2 -9x5 loaf pans OR 6 small greased loaf pans.

7Bake at 350 for 50 min (large loaves) or 40 min for small loaves. Test with toothpick.

8Let cool about 10 min.
