Ingredients For pumpkin bread

1 cpacked brown sugar

1/3 cshortening (crisco)

2eggs
-
1 ccanned pumpkin
-
1/4 cmilk
-
2 call purpose flour
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspground ginger
-
1/4 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 tspground cloves
-
1/2 cchopped walnuts (optional)

1/2 craisins (optional)
How To Make pumpkin bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl cream together brown sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add pumpkin and milk, mix well.

2Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, baking soda and cloves. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

3Stir in nuts and raisins (both optional). Turn into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Wrap and store overnight before slicing. Enjoy.
