This is my mom's famous pumpkin bread... She serves this with cream cheese icing... absolutely the best pumpkin bread I have ever had and I love pumpkin and have tried lots... rich flavor and oh so yummy.... ( I don't sift the dry ingredients I wisk them in a bowl but my mom sifts and this is her recipe, I think whisking is fine and I haven't had a problem with this technique LOL, much,much, easier)Out of this world... thanks mom :)

Ingredients For pumpkin bread

3 1/3 csifted flour

2 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspeach, nutmeg,ginger,allspice,cloves
-
1 1/2 tspcinnamon
-
3 csugar
-
4eggs
-
2/3 cwater
-
1can pumpkin (small can 15 oz)

1 coil
How To Make pumpkin bread

1Sift together dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients together add all at once to dry ingredients mixing well but not overmixing.

2Put into 2 sprayed and floured loaf pans and bake at 350 for 1 hour checking after about 50 minutes and inserting a toothpick into center of loaves. If comes out clean remove from oven. (each oven is different & you don't want to burn this)
