Ingredients For poppyseed bread

3 call-purpose flour

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
2 csugar
-
1/3 ccanola oil
-
4 lgeggs
-
1 canevaporated milk
-
2 ozpoppyseeds (approx. 2 tbs)

1 cnuts, chopped (optional)
How To Make poppyseed bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Grease and flour two 9 inch loaf pans. In a small bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt. Set aside.

2In a large bowl, beat sugar, oil and eggs til golden. Alternate adding dry ingredients with the milk. Stir til blended. Fold in poppy seeds. (Add chopped nuts-walnuts, pecans, almonds-if desired)

3Pour into prepared loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
