This is the best and easiest sweet bread recipe I've ever found. A friend said it should be outlawed, its so good. Of course, he is a single male so anything home made was a treat for him! Seriously, everyone loves it.

Ingredients For poppy seed bread

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 box
    instant coconut pudding
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    poppy seeds

How To Make poppy seed bread

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients according to cake mix directions, but beat for 2 minutes, at least.

    Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf plans.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes. Turn out on wire racks to cool completely. Store in air tight continaer or zip lock bacg.

    Enjoy. This bread is great to make ahead and freeze for later consumption.
