I have many way to make frecnh toast. This is a fav favorite of Uncles. It makes a great way for me to get as much fruits into his diet.

Ingredients For peanut butter stuffed french toast

  • 1 lb
    strawberries, fresh, hulled & sliced
  • 5 Tbsp
    sugar, divided
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    skim milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    peant butter
  • 8 slice
    white bread
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • powder sugar

How To Make peanut butter stuffed french toast

    Frist toss the strawberries with 3 Tbsp sugar. Whisk together eggs & remamining 2 Tbsp sugar, milk & vanilla. Than spread peanut butter on 4 slices of bread & top with remaining slices.

    Next in a large frying pan heat 1 Tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Than dip both sides of the sanwiches into the mixutre & place in the hot frying pan.

    Than cook until under side is agolden brown in color. About 2 mins than flip over & cook til golden brown again.

    Best served warm topped with extra strawberries & dusted with the powder sugar.
