I went to Savannah, Ga just to eat in Paula's restaurant. Along the way as we walked through the streets I picked up her cookbook. My daughter was picking out her Birthday dinner recipes and asked me to make the Gorilla Bread. It is AMAZING??

Ingredients For "paula deans" gorilla bread

  • 3 can
    canned biscuits
  • 2
    8oz cream cheese
  • 2 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 3 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped (optional

How To Make "paula deans" gorilla bread

    Cut each biscuit in half. Cut cream cheese into cubes (about the size of a sugar cube). Wrap the dough around the cream cheese. Melt butter. Combine brown & white sugar and cinnamon. Dip each ball into butter and then into sugar mixture. Put some chopped pecans evenly in layers. Toss them into a greased Bundt pan. Pour remaining butter and sugar mixture to cover. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. When done allow to cool for 10 minutes. Turn pan over onto plate.
