Great breakfast bread. There are a few rules when using Maple Syrup as a substitute for granulated sugar: 1 cup sugar= 3/4 cup Maple syrup Reduce liquid by 2-4 Tablespoons per 1 cup of Maple Syrup. Add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and change oven temperature by 25^.

    dark maple syrup
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp

    chopped walnuts

    Mix all ingredients, pour into 9x5-inch sprayed loaf pan. Bake at 350^ for about 1 hour or until toothpick tested comes out clean. Serve with maple cream or butter.
