1SIFT TOGETHER ALL DRY INGREDIENTS. BEAT EGGS, THEN ADD SHORTENING,VANILLA AND MILK. BEAT TOGETHER FOR 1/2 MINUTE.ADD DRY INGREIENTS, BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.

2BRUSH DONUT MAKER WITH LIGHT COATING OF VEGETABLE OIL AND FILL WITH BATTER. OR USE A SPOON.

3DEEP FRY AT 365 DEGREE IN MELTED SHORTENING. TURN DOWN TO BROWN EVENLY. APPROXIMATELY 1 MINUTE PER SIDE. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL. ROLL IN CINNIMON SUGAR OR MAKE A POWDER SUGAR GLAZE. MAKES ABOUT 2 DOZEN DONUTS, OR MAKES A BUNCH OF DONUT HOLES.
