oh, sweet cornbread!

This is the best cornbread I have ever had. So moist, and full of flavor. Goes great with just about anything.

Ingredients For oh, sweet cornbread!

  • 1 c
    yellow cornmeal
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2/3 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil

How To Make oh, sweet cornbread!

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 9 in round pan or 8 in square pan with cooking spray. ( I like to use real butter)

    Mix All dry ingredients in a medium size bowl. Combine well.

    Add liquid ingredients to dry mixture. Fully combine

    Pour into greased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. I stick a knife in the center and if it comes out clean, their done
