1/2 cshortening

1 csugar

2 lgeggs
-
3 or 4 mdbananas, very ripe and mashed

2 call purpose flour

1 cquick cooking oats
-
1 tspbaking soda

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1/2 cminiature semisweet chocolate chips
How To Make oatmeal chip banana bread

1Grease a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes

2In a mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add bananas and mix well.

3In another bowl combine flour, oats, baking soda , baking power and salt; add to the creamed mixture, stirring just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in pan. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
