My mother got this recipe off of her disc of 1,000,000 Recipes and she and I are both Diabetics and have been for years. I hope you enjoy this recipe My youngest daughter loves it and she is not diabetic.

Ingredients For no sugar added banana bread

1/2 cshortening

1 csplenda
-
2eggs
-
1 cbuttermilk

2 tspbaking soda

2 1/4 cflour all purpose

1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt

2 cmashed bananas
How To Make no sugar added banana bread

1Cream shortening and splenda and add eggs one at a time. Stir in Baking Soda into buttermilk and add to mixture. Add Bananas to flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well and add in nuts Optional. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake at 375 for 1 hour.
