I have had many compliments on how moist and tasty this is. My mom says I make the best Banana Bread.....funny, it is her recipe!

Ingredients For mom's moist banana nut bread

  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3
    bananas, very ripe
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts, chopped (optional)

How To Make mom's moist banana nut bread

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease and flour bread pan.

    In small bowl combine flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside.

    In medium bowl; cream together the margarine and sugar; add eggs, mix in 3 ripe bananas. Slowly add the flour mixture until blended; add walnuts and hand stir until mixed through.

    Pour mixture into prepared bread pan and bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool and enjoy!
