I love my mom's Banana bread... just wanted to share this recipe she always makes and it turns out so good.. She sometimes will make 2 by doubling her recipe and freeze one for later... so if your bananas are looking kinda ripe this recipe will take care of that for ya!

Ingredients For mom's banana bread

  • 2 1/2 c
    sifted flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    oil
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    mashed ripe banana (2-3)
  • 1
    egg

How To Make mom's banana bread

  • 1
    Sift Together all dry ingredients in mix bowl
  • 2
    Add remaining ingredients beat on medium speed 1/2 Min, Scraping sides and bottom
  • 3
    Pour into greased and floured (I don't like flouring my pans I just use a nonstick spray.) 9x5x3 pan (loaf pan)

    Bake 350 oven for 55-60 Min. Test w/ wooden toothpick remove from pan onto rack immediately
