I never used to like cornbread because it was gritty and just not good. So i went on a mission to find a good one. This cornbread is so sweet and moist.The best cornbread I've ever had homemade!! This recipe can be doubled, and baked in a 9x13.

Ingredients For honey glazed cornbread

1/2 ccornmeal

1 1/2 call purpose flour

2/3 csugar
-
1 Tbspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/3 cvegetable oil

3 Tbspbutter, melted

2 Tbsphoney
-
2eggs, beaten
-
1 1/4 cmilk
- GLAZE
-
1/4 choney
-
1/4 cbutter
How To Make honey glazed cornbread

1Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x9 baking dish.

2Stir together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3Pour in the oil, melted butter, honey, beaten eggs, and milk.

4Stir just enough to moisten.

5Pour into greased dish and bake 45 min. Test with toothpick.

6GLAZE...in a sauce pan, simmer 1/4 c butter and 1/4 c of honey together until combined. Pour over hot cornbread.
