Mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm! I love blueberries...and having a mix to just whip 'em up even if I don't have some fresh blueberries? Yeah, I want it! My kids love blueberries too, so they love this one! Another keeper mix recipe for my book of mixes! Enjoy!

Ingredients For homemade blueberry scones mix

2 call purpose flour

1/3 cvanilla sugar or 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 tsp. powdered vanilla

1/4 cnon-fat dry milk powder

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspdried lemon peel
-
1/4 tspsalt

1/3 cshortening (i use crisco butter flavored)

1 cdried blueberries
How To Make homemade blueberry scones mix

1Gently blend the first 7 ingredients until well mixed, stir in the dried blueberries. Pour into a jar.

2To make the scones: In medium mixing bowl add mix, 1 beaten egg & 1/4 cup water, stir till moistened. Place dough on lightly floured surface, kneading briefly, pat or roll smooth (1/2") and into a circle. Cut into wedges or with cookie cutters.

3Bake at 400° F. for 12 -15 minutes. This makes a beautiful gift; just make a gift tag to write the directions for baking, and attach it.
