This is a wonderful moist dessert bread. I got this recipe out of a Pillsbury cookbook and tweaked it a little.

Ingredients For homemade banana bread

3/4 csugar

1/2 cbutter, softened

2eggs
-
2medium bananas, mashed

1/3 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla

2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cchopped nuts (optional)

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make homemade banana bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan In mixing bowl combine sugar and butter, beat till light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add banans, milk, and vanilla, blend well

2In a small bowl, combine flour, nuts, baking powder, and salt. Add slowly to banana mixture and beat on low till combined.

3Pour into pan and bake 50-60 minutes or till knife comes out clean when inserted.
