1-8 ozsoftened cream cheese
-
3/4 csoftened unsalted butter
-
2 csugar
-
2 lgeggs
-
1 tspvanilla extract

4 mdripe bananas, smashed

3 cflour
-
1/2 tspeach - baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon

2 cchopped pecans or walnuts
- GLAZE
-
3 Tbsporange juice, fresh
-
1 cconfectioners' sugar
-
1 tsporange zest
How To Make ~ banana born & bred ~

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray two 8 Inch x 4 Inch loaf pans with bakers secret or grease and flour. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese, sugar and butter, until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add bananas and vanilla and thoroughly beat.

2In a med bowl, toss together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Add a little at a time to the wet mixture. Stir in 1 cup of nuts.

3Measure batter evenly into the bread pans. Sprinkle the tops with remaining nuts.

4Bake for 1 hour and 10 - 15 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Mix glaze ingredients, making sure of no lumps.

5After about 10 minutes remove loaves from pans and sit upright on cooling rack. Pour glaze evenly over top of bread while lukewarm.

6Cool, cut and enjoy!
