Ingredients For fresh lemon nut bread

  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • peel of lemon, grated
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    nuts
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • lemon juice from 1 lemon

How To Make fresh lemon nut bread

  • 1
    Blend milk, eggs, and lemon peel in blender. Mix butter and sugar together. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and nuts.

    Mix all together and pour into a loaf pan
  • 3
    Bake at 325 for 60mins. Remove from oven.
  • 4
    Mix lemon juice and sugar, and spoon mixture over the top of loaf, returning it to the oven for another five minutes. Let cool before slicing.
