I know there are tons of Banana Nut Bread Recipes. This one I have done for years and just one day put it all together and wow was it awesome. I have neighbors, friends and family begging me to make it, including my kids.

Ingredients For banana pecan bread

1 stickbutter or margarine, room temperature

3/4 csugar

2 lgeggs
-
2 cflour
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
3 lgripe bananas, mashed

1 tspvanilla

1/2 cpecans, in pieces, coarsley chopped
How To Make banana pecan bread

1Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x5" bread pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Sift Flour and baking soda together, and add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Fold in bananas, vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into pan.

2Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes.

3Recipe makes 1 loaf so I double mine for 2 loaves.
