This coffee cake recipe is so simple since it starts with a boxed cake mix. It's one of our families favorites and also easy to take along to a get together. Just make sure to let people know it contains nuts.

Ingredients For cinnamon nut coffee cake

  • COFFEE CAKE
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • TOPPING
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts (can also use pecans)

How To Make cinnamon nut coffee cake

    To make the coffee cake, combine the cake mix, pudding, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and oil.

    Mix the topping ingredients together.

    Add cake batter to a 13x9 pan coated with cooking spray.

    Sprinkle topping across cake batter.
  • Completed cake. You can add a drizzle icing if you like. (optional)
